What this demo stores

This is a demonstration of an ordering system, run by Cleddau Automations. The business shown, Ty Bryn Kitchen, is fictional. Please do not enter real personal details: use a made-up name and number. If you give an email address it is the one any order email goes to, so use one you can reach or leave it blank.

What is captured

• A name and a phone number, so the kitchen can identify and, if needed, ring you about an order.
• An email address if you give one (optional for collection orders, needed for catering invoices). When email is switched on, it is passed to Resend, the mail provider, to send the order confirmation and the updates about that order, and is used for nothing else.
• For catering, a company name, room, headcount, delivery time and an optional purchase order number.
• What was ordered and when, and every status change, so the business has a record of demand.
• One yes-or-no answer to “does anyone in this order have an allergy or intolerance?”. No detail of any allergy is captured anywhere.

What is not captured

• No card details. Card payments run in Stripe's test mode on Stripe's own pages; no card data touches this site, and no real money moves.
• No accounts, passwords, tracking cookies or advertising. The kitchen screen uses one cookie so the kitchen stays signed in.

Retention

Orders older than 90 days are deleted automatically. The demo is also reset regularly, which deletes every order; that reset needs the owner's PIN.
